I love random emails asking me to do crazy things. Just got one then and now I’m going to be busking in Cardiff tomorrow afternoon, competing against another artist to see who can raise the most money. It’s with this South Wales music thing called Bedroom Live. Think they’re gonna be filming it and stuff too so it should be tasty.
Batman and Robin - Fanque’s Fair
I’ve had these lyrics sitting around for a while doing very little and then in the sun this past week I was inspired to write something a bit more uplifting and ‘summery’. It turned out the combination of the dormant lyrics and the flowery riffs came together to make something that probably didn’t really fit the bill. Nevertheless it was fun recording it. Just a short little demo that I hope you enjoy.

and so this long continent spanning peregrination comes to a muted denouement after a final train, plane and automobile. the zurich nightclub was booming and boisterous. peppered with the usual bemused miss requesting dry your eyes. some people never got over paul weller extinguishing the jam and a few will say i should be singing let’s push things forward until the big sleep. fuck that. i’d rather try to actually push my thing forward. knowing i won’t revisit past ovations. right now that’s the art of the d.o.t and improvised mp3 mixing for small groups of caners. from cyprus to cannes and the bears of bern. peace- that is the other word for home
